  • Humans need magnesium for proper bone development; a lack of magnesium weakens bones and stunts growth.  Plenty of foods provide good sources of magnesium: green leafy vegetables, whole grains, dairy products and chocolate.
  • Magnesium is used in many idustrial applications.  When alloyed with other metals, magnesium can be used on car tires, insulation, ships, boilers, ovens, furnace linings and glass production.
